Instructions

Instructions for Ice Ring

  1. Combine apple, pear, and rum in a clean glass jar and allow to infuse (refrigerated) for three days. This part is optional but makes a nice flavor and visual addition to the punch. If you don’t have 3 days, skip the rum and put the apple and pear into ice cubes as follows in step 2.
  2. Drain apples and pear from rum, discarding rum. Fill ice cube trays or a bundt pan with water and infused fruit and freeze until firm. These will be added to your punch just before serving. If you will have a lot of fruit so feel free to save some to garnish the punch glasses.

Instructions for Punch

  1. Pour all liquids into a large container and stir well. Add I sliced apples and pears and allow the flavors to combine for 2 hours before serving.
  2. Just before serving, add in ice ring/ice cubes and garnish with reserved fruit.
