Tamari Almonds

Description

The healthiest, delicious snack you’ll have all year!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Cups Raw Almonds
  • 1/4 Cup Tamari (gluten-free soy sauce)
  • 1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Pinch Cayenne Pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300-degrees and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment.
  2. Combine Tamari, Olive Oil and optional cayenne in a bowl and mix well. Add in almonds and let sit for 20-60 minutes, stirring often (the longer they marinate, the better the flavor).
  3. Drain almonds from the liquid and spread out on baking pan.
  4. Bake for 20-30 minutes, tossing every 5 minutes, until almonds turn darker and some start to split/crack.
  5. Allow to cool before serving.
