- 4 Cups Raw Almonds
- 1/4 Cup Tamari (gluten-free soy sauce)
- 1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Pinch Cayenne Pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300-degrees and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment.
- Combine Tamari, Olive Oil and optional cayenne in a bowl and mix well. Add in almonds and let sit for 20-60 minutes, stirring often (the longer they marinate, the better the flavor).
- Drain almonds from the liquid and spread out on baking pan.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes, tossing every 5 minutes, until almonds turn darker and some start to split/crack.
- Allow to cool before serving.
