Ingredients

- 1 3/4 cup Oats (120 grams)
- 2 scoops Vanilla protein powder (I use Arbonne)
- 1/4 cup Cacao (a more anti-oxidant rich version of cocoa powder)
- 2 Flax eggs (2 TB flaxmeal mixed with 6 TB hot water, sit for 10–15 mins)
- 1 1/4 Non-dairy milk of choice
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4–1/2 cup Vegan, Sugar-free Chocolate Chips (I use Lily’s)
- Coconut whipped cream for serving ((see recipe notes))
Instructions
- Make flax eggs (see above)
- Heat waffle iron (make sure waffle iron is hot enough or these will stick!)
- Mix all ingredients through salt in a blender until smooth
- Mix in chocolate chips (or sprinkle on top of batter once in waffle maker)
- Cook according to waffle iron instructions
- Serve with desired toppings and enjoy!
