The holidays are upon us and sometimes you just need a “ringer” of a main dish that’s easy to make and loved by all. This Miso-Glazed Salmon fits the bill! I made it for a recent get-together and one of my friends said she’d never had salmon that she’d liked – until now.
This version will make a “believer” out of the most resistant seafood-fearing friends of yours so have no fear! This dish comes together in a flash so you can focus on enjoying yourself, too :).
Miso-Glazed Salmon
- Yield: 4 People 1x
- Category: Main Course
- Cuisine: American, Japanese
Description
This version is great for an easy weeknight but feel to get a large side of salmon (as pictured) and double – or triple- the sauce, depending on the weight.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Sugar
- 2 TB Tamari (gluten-free soy sauce)
- 2 TB Hot Water
- 2 TB Miso
- 4 6-ounce Salmon Filets
- Avocado Oil, for pan
Instructions
- Preheat oven to “Broil” setting.
- Oil a 9×12-inch baking dish with Avocado Oil. Place salmon filets in baking dish, skin-side down.
- Combine first 4 ingredients and whisk until combined. Pour evenly over salmon.
- Place baking dish in oven and broil for 10-20 minutes (depending on thickness and size of fish), basting every 3-5 minutes. If salmon is browning too quickly, tent with foil.
